My name is Jen and I’ve always loved treasure hunting, or “junkin” as my family likes to say. I guess I would call myself a gleaner. Someone who gathers something in small pieces, slowly and carefully; a type of accumulator, collector or gatherer. I love finding something old and under appreciated, and giving it new life. I often use these items to decorate my home; to give it character and something unique you can’t get just anywhere. As I started to run out of space in my own home, I turned my passion for vintage treasures into In The Rough. A shop where I can send these treasures off to new homes, and share them with all of you!
