Lovely creamer with matching basket for sugar or candy made by A. Lanternier, Limoges, France. Both pieces have a twig-style handle with leaves finished in gold; the bodies are an ombre peachy-pink color with raised gold dots in graduated sizes starting at the rim. We are including a pair of stainless steel sugar tongs for use with the basket. The creamer measures 5 3/8″ from spout to handle x 3.25″ tall at the handle; the basket 4 7/8″ long at the rim x about 4.5″ tall to the top of the handle. We estimate these date from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Both pieces are in excellent used antique condition with no damage; some minor wear on the gold of the handles.
