Stunning antique oil painting in gold frame matted under glass. It features an autumn river landscape in spectacular colors: blues, golds, copper–the photos don’t do it justice. Not signed or dated. The original backing is anaglypta wallpaper, glued to the art board; remnants are still attached to the back of the frame. I estimate the painting dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The cardboard backing is probably a replacement. Beautiful addition to a gallery wall of original art, or as an accent above an entry table. The painting is heavy and will require the proper wall anchor. See below for dimensions and condition.

CONDITION: Very good preowned antique condition; the frame has a couple of touched-up areas along the right bottom edge and a small dark spot in the upper right corner–use zoom to view.
