Late 19th century to early 20th century French oil portrait of a mustached gentleman. Painted by a skilled hand with great attention to detail on his facial features. Set against a dark black background making for a moody and dark mood to the portrait. The blonde mustache makes for a striking pop of facial features. The painting is signed to the lower right hand in red, however some of the lettering is illegible; “E Flu…” . I am unable to attribute this painting to a specific artist.
There are visible signs of distress on the canvas along with a few small punctures. Comes unframed.
