Heavy. ATALA is the secondary character in an early novella, first published on April 2, 1801, by French author Franรงois-Renรฉ de Chateaubriand. Typewriter note on bottom reads: “Heroine of ___?____’s romance, an Indian maiden in love with Chaftas, the captive chief of another tribe. She releases and flees with him but, faithful to her Chi___n (?) vows, poisons herself in despair.”

I bought the small brown tin pitcher from this shop and it was exactly as described! It sits perfectly on my nightstand and it is exactly as Heather described it would be. I couldnโt be happier with my purchase! She even graciously threw in a coupon for my next purchase from her as well. I would highly recommend this shop to any of my fellow antique lovers. Her items are high quality and I love watching her on the live streams as well! Looking forward to seeing new treasures she finds in the future!
