Vintage large and heavy solid brass wall coat rack with three double hooks. The rack is heavily ornamented with a ribbon motif framing an image of a goddess, perhaps Flora or Pomona. The style could fall within French Rococo, Italian Baroque, even Art Nouveau; I estimate the piece dates from the second half of the 20th century. There is a dedicated mounting hole at the top, but there are also a few other places for additional anchoring. The rack measures 17″ long x 13″ wide and projects 5.5″ from the mounting surface. It weighs over 8 lbs. and is in excellent preowned vintage condition; obtained from an estate. Use in the entryway, dressing room, bathroom, mud room–lots ways to elevate your options for hanging everything from coats and hats, to towels, leashes, umbrellas, belts and scarves. A statement piece.
